This is good work, and it's not a real clock movie

From my experience this is not a clock movie. Clock movies are unoriginal, usually lack any coherent storyline and have bad animation. This is a good film, better than most entries on NG. Please watch it!

Good animation, but misguided

I wouldn't have any problems with a gay, racist villain if it weren't for the fact that you were doing it for gags and laughter--and I guess to homophobes that would be funny. But for me (and yes, I guess I unfortunately have to state that I'm heterosexual since everyone assumes you're a "fag" if you stick up for homosexuals) I do have a problem with it. You're against racism but you're making fun of people based on their sexuality--don't you see the hypocrisy? I don't want to rag on you too much because you did a good job on the animation and characterization but you just seem go into the wrong direction with thinking that making someone into a "fag" is automatic laughs. Now if you had made the character gay and he couldn't recognize that his racism was equal to being homophobic then there might be some irony. Hopefully you aren't really prejudiced against gays and this was just an honest mistake. There's definite potential to do better.

Worthy of watching.

This was a lot of fun to watch and I'm sure it took a bit of doing to get the sabers drawn in on all of the frames. Maybe next time you can get a guy to play Yoda or even add in your own creatures somehow like the gladiotor style scene in the new movie.

Not sure what it is but...

I'm not quite sure what the game is or anything but the graphics look pretty interesting. Kind of a mixing of styles from 2d to 3d. Maybe you have a follow up trailer that will explain more or give a bit of a demo as to what your game will be like.

I basically wanted to at least give you a review. The file size is huge admittedly but everyone deserves a review of some sort.
Good luck.

I've been reviewed by SWENSON, the greatest flash artist on NG! To answer your question, the game itself will let you control the alien. you can fly the ship, find weapons, abduct people, etc. (Actual game clip when the earth is in the veiw screen - notice the hud around the edges) The idea was to make my bands website a game. BUT...our name "Scavenger" was stolen by a canadian 80's rock poser so it has been changed to "Smoke Ring Halo" ( http://www.mp3.com/smokeringhalo ) The game will still be developed, but has taken the backburner for now. Thanks for the review - Your movies rock!

Better than most

Okay maybe the graphics aren't the greatest but I thought this was more entertaining than a lot of the short stuff on NG. And it's not like you have to preload it, the animation ran smoothly on my 56k modem which surprised me. I'd say great work for what it is and don't be scared off by the file size.

Could be good for a longer flash...

Looks like it has potential. Animation is smooth and characters have a style of their own. I'll have to check back when you have a completed movie to see what kind of storyline you'll have going. Good luck.

This is still a great toon

I came back to watch this again and it is still a brilliant piece from the concept to the animation, plus the characterization of the karma ghosts.
Had to give a quick review here because the last reviewer was an idiot. Definitely one of the top movies on NG--watch it.

Damn fine work

This took some work and effort. I'm not a big gamer myself but this was fun to watch. Definitly raises the level of quality on NG

Good and tasteless

I liked this toon and I'm surprised that it isn't getting more views. It's exactly what a lot of NG visitors want, short and sweet and good animation. Mainly, I liked the style. It builds on the Ren and Stimpy style but remember that Ren and Stimpy was building on previous influences too and I think the artist goes back a bit further, especially with the voice and music since it reminds me of some MGM cartoons. Good job, I'm going to watch some of the other ones you've done too.

Not sure what to say here except I love the internet for it's freedom of expression. visit my site to read my gag cartoons and daily comic strip The Cynic.
